Kento + Lilian Vintage Wedding

My very first Vintage Wedding! I LOVE everything about this day. The venue, the  couple (so ultra cute..) and the closeness of the whole day. We start the day off at Lilian’s house when her and her three sisters got ready. The guys drove up to the house, ready for some games.
Finally got inside and the poor Kento actually still have to beg for her hand. They rented a vintage car for the day! We took so much photos around the car, but you know what? It was really fitting.

The is Tiffany, maid of honor, who actually book me within 24 hours after this wedding for her up coming wedding this year.Gigi was the wedding planner, also Lilian’s 22 (The cute numeric nick names the four sisters has for each other).
We took a little time on our way to the back of the mansion for group photos.
Reception are cater by Gigi’s boyfriend, let me just say I am ultra impress with the causal but yummy 4 course meal.Congratulation Kento and Lilian ! Thank you for allowing me to share your big day!

A Vintage Wedding ~ Lr Preset

This all started when I got into the meeting with Kento and Lilian, who told me that they were having an early summer vintage wedding down by Kitts. Initially I envision something old school like the Retro set that I tailor for Randi & Steve. However after I visit Lilian home and the venue, I change my mind. I think this green hue color manipulation set actually bring out the summer and late spring of the day.

Stella and Liam ~ Richmond Kirin Wedding

Funny story, Stella and Liam met my work through my first piece of vinyl portrait art. See they were having dinner at my friend’s house, and upon talking about their wedding planning, they comment on how they haven’t been able to book a photographer. My friend pointed toward the canvas hung above her fireplace, and told them she got one that she think will be perfect for them.Their special date start with some pick up games for the guys. At the end of games, the guys actually lined up and sang the first song that Liam had sang for Stella…and attempt to sent a special message to Stella who is watching upstairs via helicopter. Then we headed over to Trinity Baptist Church on Granville Street, I love this airy beautiful church. Afterward we head over to Richmond Oval for some portrait session time.Reception are held at the Richmond Kirin Restaurant.  I love covering christian wedding, especially when the entire congregation shown up for the ceremony and half of the church fellowship decided to perform during the reception. We were having a particular hard time to hold our camera straight as we were laughing too hard at all the games and dance performance.

Sneak Peek at this summer…

I am really grateful for every jobs and all the wonderful people I had met this summer. The season are far from over, but as I am staying home nursing No.1 Fan and the mini-me from cold/strep throat I am fully taking this breather room to upload some sneak peek photos from some of the sessions.
