I started this blog almost ten years ago over on the free wordpress.org. It was a documentation of my journey as a wife, a new mother and someone who have a passion in making beautiful photo. My photography style is very whimsical and quirky. I am very attracted to light reflections and natural color tone. I hope you enjoy my work.

Vancouver Aquarium Wedding ~ Shawn + Michelle
My good friends Shawn and Michelle got married at the Aquarium! They had a pre-wedding session, a trash my dress session and then a civil ceremony. On the big party day, we start with the girls getting ready in the morning.
Preping for the door game, putting anything in the bribing red pocket except cash.
Then knowing Shawn, of course they will have to stop at McD
Door games, the proof of the Groom courage, smart..and perhaps if he has good enough groom’s men
Michelle watching via Facetime.
I LOVE THIS ROOM!
Onward with the ceremony.
Post game cheers!
I think this is the largest wedding party we had ever photographed
Chilling out….with chips and human chair
Then we went to the aquarium for their receptions.
This photo made Strobist…I am forever grateful that I got such amazing shots.
We got the dolphins and beluga photobombing us during our under the sea portrait session.
This remain the most impressive bridesmaids speech as the girls actually sang out the whole speech in the tune of Love Story.
Getting down to some games, and we see someone familiar! Shawn was blindfolded and will need to pick out Michelle among a group of lovely ladies.
Michelle’s turn to ID her husband…yap, they totally gone there.
Our favourite game, SHOE GAMES.
Their first dance.
It was my pleasure to photograph their wedding (on top of the ultra cool Venue at Vancouver Aquarium and Hycroft Manor) I had known Shawn since we were at college and to be honest, I was a little choke up after seeing him change into his tux (which he gave me the WTF expression…and it was priceless). It was overwhelming, loving with lots of laugh and the night was ended with lots of hugs and dancing.
