April and Justin had a very special wedding.
They had all of their friends cook for everyone at their reception. That’s right, it was a pot luck wedding. There were no head table, actually there were no table and assign seats; everyone brought a dish to the gathering and we just hang out and play some games.
The day started when both boys and girls got ready separately before they had a small tea ceremony with April parents.
Their ceremony were held at the University Chapel at UBCOff we go for portrait around UBC……
I try very hard but so far these guys is the only wedding party who manage to pull this pose off…After the wedding party depart to help set up the reception party, Justin and April went to take some sunset photos before their grand entrance to the party. You know this sign, was an actual direction sign held by one of their friend in the corner of West Mall. To this date, I still have no idea the name of the building house the room they had rented. The path toward the hall was lit by candle in mason jar made by the wedding party, and it was very very pretty.
These are some of the games stations they had provided. Everyone wore a name tag which describe their name and relationship to the couple. (Mine of sister in Christ and photographer at work.)
On top of the pot luck dinner everyone prepare, Pastor Andy and co also made some BBQ pork sandwiches…
After the Bridal party speeches, we start off the game demo. The MC had decided that April should be treated like a queen, thus she will need to be carry around by all the guys. The night was fill with blessing, everyone gather together to celebrate and we ended our night with some night portrait by the fountain outside.
