Make yourself at home

I started this blog almost ten years ago over on the free wordpress.org. It was a documentation of my journey as a wife, a new mother and someone who have a passion in making beautiful photo. My photography style is very whimsical and quirky. I am very attracted to light reflections and natural color tone. I hope you enjoy my work.

Vancouver Aquarium Wedding ~ Tina and Peter

Tina and Peter got married on a beautiful HOT July weekend. We kinda glad we had the reception at the Aquarium as we are sweating it out in QE park. Tina and her sisters as well as her mom got ready at Shangri la Hotel Vancouver in the morning.

12The ceremony is held at the celebration pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park, follow by our first portrait session in the park.

12We then get a really quick photo session at the Aquarium before the guests arrive. 131415As the guests arrive, they were free to roam around the exhibits and enjoying the first part of our photobooth held at the GIANT jelly fish tank.  (I made the yellow and orange Jelly Fish using dollar shop lantern; while Freeman the booth photographer made the white jelly fish with recycled paper.) 16171819Reception continue as we play some games (or Tina and Peter played some games) follow by speeches from Tina and Peter.20212223242526The most amazing thing: The beluga whale decided to join the party after the couple had their first dance! 27This is the 2nd part of our photobooth, set up in font of  Jack and Daisy…28Tina and Peter went to the main level and had a little quiet time of their own.

This last shot, were actually taken AFTER we wrapped and all pack up to go. While Freeman was playing with the public piano outside I couldn’t notice how perfectly calm and beautiful the reflection of the fountain made. I literally waited (stalked) for Peter and Tina leaving for the aquarium and ask them for a couple last shots of the night.

Congratulation Tina and Peter! Thank you for letting us photograph your wedding!

Don’t forget to go over to our FB page to access your photobooth photo!
