Make yourself at home

I started this blog almost ten years ago over on the free wordpress.org. It was a documentation of my journey as a wife, a new mother and someone who have a passion in making beautiful photo. My photography style is very whimsical and quirky. I am very attracted to light reflections and natural color tone. I hope you enjoy my work.

Want to look up something?

Flora + Jun (part 1)

I LOVE everything about their wedding! From the school theme to the dedication of their friends (most of them actually came watch the pick up game and the tea ceremony early in the morning, and then stay still the last dance and help clean up the site..)

So because we had absolutely went overboard in the creativity department and can not for the life of me, narrow down the photos selection, I had to split their wedding into two posts. Here is what went down in the morning.

Over at the Lau’s house, Flora is getting her make up done by her best friend.

The guys arrive and had probably no idea what was in store for them.
After Jun had proven how much he wanted to marry Flora, we move right onto the Chinese tea ceremony.
Off they go…around the block (Chinese tradition..I think) and everyone have a lunch break. Flora change into her wedding grown. The whole wedding party went up to SFU for some fun photos, we are mostly impress with the girls ability to with stand the cold!
While the rest of the gang went to set up the decoration at Alan Emmott Centre, we continue exploring SFU with Flora and Jun.

Go to the next post for the ceremony and reception photos!
